TESTING
Precision Performance Castings has the expertise and laboratory resources to conduct any required testing, including tensile strength, metallurgy tests and calibration. Many of these are routinely conducted as functions of our rigorous quality control procedures, but if you have specific testing requirements we can also include those as part of the inspection processes and data capture.
MAINTAINING RECORDS
Ironbooks is the proprietary software solution that we use to record all projects. This online solution holds all testing records, batch and version identities, design details and much more in a secure online location. Precision Performance Castings has drawn on extensive experience to ensure that Ironbooks record keeping is compliant with international best practice, and provides 24/7 customer access to their project records via a secure online portal.
DEMAND PLANNING
Precision Performance Castings prides itself on being a true production partner, which includes advising and planning for fluctuating or future product orders. With our broad network of foundry partners we are well-placed to ensure that product supply synchs perfectly with a customer’s demand planning. We are also aware of the impact that local holidays, scheduled maintenance, equipment upgrades and plant failure can have on production schedules, and factor in contingency plans to account for these issues.
VERSION CONTROL
Managing product variations, updates and discontinuations is a function of the Ironbooks solution. Our production managers and testing staff will always refer to Ironbooks as the primary source of information. Customer access to this resource ensures that the right version and the correct information about a product is always current, this includes any after-casting services such as machining and finishing or assembly.

DESIGN
Our experts have often been called upon to advise on the best design for a particular casting, and sometimes to design a product from scratch. In offering this service to customers we draw on huge experience regarding the correct casting method for each application, ensuring a complete solution, from concept to finished product.
TOOLING
As Precision Performance Castings creates virtually all of the tooling we use, we have developed an excellent reputation for quality tool making. Our engineers are craftsmen producers of the world’s finest tooling components, each one designed and engineered to extremely fine tolerances. 95% of the time, it’s Precision Performance Castings that creates the tooling for a project. This is our preference because we want to make absolutely sure the tooling is made to match the product and foundry equipment where the part will be cast.
CASTING METHODS AND TYPES
The selection process for our foundry partners takes into account different casting methods, and their suitability for various applications. Therefore, we are not constrained by material grades or casting methods. Supply your specifications for a project and our skilled production managers, who draw on at least 30 years’ experience each, will ensure that the most suitable foundry for that job is selected.
PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
Precision Performance castings is fortunate to have strong relationships with a comprehensive network of foundry partners, this means that production can be scaled up or down depending on customer demand. We have also ensured that there is sufficient diversity in our foundry partnerships to ensure the right foundry for every job, whether that’s an item weighing 50 grams or 6 tonnes. This strategy has enabled the production capacity to make, store and ship thousands of items, or produce a one-off.

Our Singapore warehousing facility can store items ready for dispatch, saving our customers the cost and inconvenience of having to ship and then re-store items before forwarding to their customers.

Singapore was chosen as the location for Precision Performance Castings’ warehousing and distribution hub because it provides Southeast Asia’s most efficient transportation solution. We despatch products from here to customers worldwide, taking advantage of a trusted, dependable and effective shipping infrastructure.

Precision Performance Castings’ 7,000 square foot warehousing facility in Singapore is an extension of our customers’ own logistics capabilities. State-of-the-art inventory management, excellent communications and a customer-centric focus have resulted in the seamless integration of this facility into customer processes, providing real efficiencies and cost savings.
